Over the course of 8 challenging weeks, learn how to create authentic, motivated and creative performances on screen. Find out the differences between stage and screen acting, the way to play real moments through your eyes in heightened film scenes, how to find your natural, funny self in T.V. comedy scripts and more!

Led by Acting Coach and veteran film/tv actor Tony Babcock (Beyblade, Degrassi, Final 24, and Bell’s Extreme Actor).

Program runs on Fridays at 8pm @ Sandalwood

SYNERGY is proud to announce this new program designed for students that wish participate
in a major Theatre Production this year.
This FREE program will require future actors, dancers and singers to audition in order to be admitted into this very special program.

These classes are 8 weeks long for $120.
Geared toward the beginner dancer for ages 3-18.

Special Mommy & Me classes are available for ages 1-3. Inquire for availability.

Synergy's drama and theatre classes aim to develop the student's self esteem, communication, fearless performance, improvisation exercises and voice projection. Scholarships are offered through annual festivals.
Our drama class program provides role playing activities, which cover all aspects of theatre, make-up, lighting, stage management and more.  Explore various acting techniques as well as learning fearless performance strategies during a one hour drama lesson.


Our program will prepare students applying to the Regional Arts Program - including Mayfield Secondary School. Interview preparation, audition and dance requirements.

Drama Classes
This innovative program will nurture expression in which one can learn what it takes to be a stellar performer! Students will engage in role playing activities, learn the parts of the stage, improvisation techniques, body language, facial expressions, mime, tableaux, script writing and so much more all while engaging in and learning fearless performance techniques to take to the stage and impress an audience. Get ready for an experience of a lifetime!

Theatre Arts Classes

Voice, Dance & Acting all in one!
Synergy's musical theatre style classes provide "triple threat" experience, specially designed for those who are very serious about acting in musicals or TV shows.  Acting, dancing, singing, working with make-up, stage sets and costume design, students are sure to have a well-rounded experience in the theatre world! Students are given opportunities to record in Synergy’s recording studio, perform in various showcases, and are given the wonderful opportunity to share what they have learned at Synergy’s end of the year recital at the Rose Theatre!


Kinder Theatre Classes
Offering "future stars" a triple threat program that will delight and enhance their creative personalities. Students will engage in nursery rhyme singing, role play drama activities and explore different aspects of jazz and ballet for their dance education. This program is sure to offer future stars the time of their lives! Ages 3-6.

Pitch Perfect
Students will engage in many different genres of music, including pop, jazz, rhythm and blues, choral, classical, musical theatre and many more. They will expand their repertoire by learning vocal technique, etiquette, posture, diction, enunciation and explore various breathing techniques. The primary focus of this class will work on creating harmonies in an ensemble to produce a “harmoniously in sync” sound! Pitch Perfect will be sure to instill confidence while building and developing a beautiful voice within! 
Meet Our Team
Tony B.
Tony is an Award Winning Actor, Director, Producer and Acting Coach with over 20 years of industry experience. In the past five years he has taught over 500 Actors and Industry professionals how to be more present and focused in their work utilizing the tools of improvisation. This has led to bookings on TV shows for major networks, as well as feature films, stage plays, agents and more! With his improv troupe, "The Canadian Improv Showcase," Tony has performed shows at such venues as the ImprovOlympic in LA, The Rose Theatre, Sterling Festival Theatre, Algonquin Theatre, Ontario Power Generation, The Kingston Pen, Rogers TV and over 100 workshops in countless TDSB schools! This summer Tony will be shooting the Bell Media's Fibe TV 1 series Extreme Actor. He voiced 30 episodes on the kids' cartoon, "Beyblade: Shogun Steel" (with Emmy Award Winning Director Debra Toffan). He has been a host for Much Music, Teletoon and red carpet interviews for ACTRA. His short film "Treatment" won Best International Shortat the Williamsburg International Film Festival in New York City, and he is a series lead on IRL: The Series which will be airing on Bell Media's Fibe TV 1. Tony's ongoing industry experience mixed with his selfless, upbeat, and positive approach, creates a supportive learning environment that is current, resilient, and leads to solid work and booking jobs in the industry TODAY!
